I have been running several Nagios installations for various companies. I am now at the point where I need to monitor a single windows host from the Companies home office. I can ssh into the remote office server, but have no nsclient access. Here is the command (ip address obscured):[root@nagios libexec]# ./check_nt -H 11.22.33.44 -p 12489 -d SHOWALL -v SERVICESTATE -l Spoolercould not fetch information from serverI am able to monitor other local windows machines successfully. NSClient configuration (nsc.ini) was copied from a production machine. I am not able to install NRPE on the Nagios box (may require reinstallation).
Hi Ramesh-I would like to monitor windows schedule task from any nagios snmp plugin? My setup not allowing me to install NSClient++ into any windows machine ( Because my network security team is not allowing me to open a port for same) . I am able to monitor windows server with the help of nagios snmp plugin.Is there a way for Nagios SNMP to monitor scheduled task to determine if that task fails or run and notify the admin of success or failure?
